CHARACTER ACCENTUATIONS AS POSTTRAUMATIC STRESS PREDICTORS AT JUVENILE AGE

Azarnyh T.D.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to explore the predictors of posttraumatic stress (PTS) among character accentuations at juvenile age with gender factor consideration. PTS and its extreme degree - posttraumatic stress disorders (PTSD) - tend to begin in a period of one to six months after having experienced fear, horror or helplessness and have a certain set of symptoms. 446 girls and 144 male students of Voronezh universities aged 18-20 were tested during the study. In all the cases no less than six months have passed after the stress effect. The following factors Were Defined: the level PS Missisipi scale, civil variant (T.M. Keane) and Impact of Event Scale-R (IES-R) (M.J. Horovitz), accentuations presence (V.M. Rusalov). Statistical processing included: analysis crosstabulation (χ 2-Pearson, continuity correction) (SPSS, version 13). It was established that PTS predictors depend on gender: girls are pedantic, but boys can be characterized as dysthymic and sticking. The other changes are the result of PTS. The data obtained can be used for predicting the course of PTS, as well as for professional selection.

TRANSFORMATION OF CULTURE AND SCIENCE IN GLOBAL DISCOURSE

Belkin A.I., Ionesov V.I.

Abstract

This article seeks to investigate the effects of global challenges on cultural process and intercultural integration. With increased pressure on the culture, which emerged out of the global transformations, there also grow the risks and conflicts in intercultural relations. The article argues the prevailing statement that crisis is only alien territory and hostile inroad for culture. It contends that crisis has also great resource for creative renovation and requalification of cultural reality. In a globalization discourse the category of the whole loses the traditional value. There is a science and culture aesthetization, the science starts being considered as special type of text. Emergence of the Internet made knowledge available for all communicators and changed system of inter-generational transfer of experience.

SOME ASPECTS OF ELETROSTATICS LAW STUDY IN FORMS OF CORRESPONDENCE TO THEORETICAL MODELS OF DIFFERENT DEGREES OF IDEALIZATION

Ivanov S.A.

Abstract

In the present article an analysis of consecutive specification of some physical laws in the course of studying of a number of questions on physics in class is carried out. This specification is a peculiar application of the methodological principle of compliance. The relevance of this research consists in the application in training in physics of the principle of compliance as a methodological principle as this principle is realized only at the level of separate physical theories (classical and relative mechanics, quantum and relative theories of radiation, wave and geometrical optics). The main idea consists in the fact that the use of the methodological opportunities of the principle of compliance takes place systematically and directly at the lessons of physics and all essence of the dialectic nature of specific concepts is thus revealed. A special technique of stage - by - stage formation of the idea of limits applicability of physical concept, laws and theories for students has been worked out. This article deals with the application of this technique specifically to studying by the students of Technical University at the course of electrostatics within the course of the general physics. This technique explains not only the scope of the concrete law but also gives the analysis of its participation in more exact theories raising the degree of reality of the scientific description of objects and the phenomena. During this pedagogical research it became clear that unlike traditional studying of the principle of compliance as a special physical principle in quantum and relative theories its consecutive application in the system of formation of concepts and laws is possible.

PROBLEMS AND PECULIARITIES OF IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPETENCE-ORIENTED EDUCATION STANDARDS IN A TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Krasinskaya L.F.

Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of the introduction of new educational standards into the activities of the higher school. Special attention is paid to technical universities designed to train specialists in the priority sectors of the economy. The article discusses the problems of the Federal level, related to the development of standards and their implementation in mass teaching practice: the abundance of graduates ' competences that teachers find it hard to keep in memory and focus on them in pedagogical activity; the mismatch of skills and disciplines within which they should be formed; the complexity of self-determination of academic disciplines of the variable block standard; the lack of convenient methods for the assessment of competencies; an insufficient normative and methodical provision of the implementation of the standards by the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation and others. The article also analyzes the problems related to the insufficient preparedness of teachers of technical universities to work in new conditions: to use active and interactive forms of teaching, forming the competence of graduates; to diversify training at the level of bachelor, specialist and master programs; to organize effective independent work of students; to develop methodical maintenance of educational process taking into account the requirements of the standard. In technical universities there often exists a distorted understanding of competencies - only as the ability of graduates to carry out specific professional functions, so understating the importance of humanitarian training. Theoretical statements made by the author, are supported by a study in Russian universities. On the basis of research data and provisions in the conclusion: the successful implementation of competence-oriented education standards is possible provided timely regulatory and scientific-methodical support of relevant innovations from the Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation, and also requires organizing a large-scale training of the teaching staff of universities, aimed at mastering modern technologies of teaching and assessment methods of development of students ' competencies.

METHODS OF OVERCOMING OBSTACLES TO THE CREATIVE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE STUDENTS OF UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES IN THE DIRECTION «ADVERTISING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS»

Mihelkevich V.N., Kornaukhova M.P.

Abstract

The article gives an analysis of the barriers to creative professional activity of specialists in public relations and advertising. It examines a group of internal, personal barriers (conformism, professional narrow-mindedness, narrow-practical approach, the influence of authorities, belief in the existence of only one single correct solution, fear of criticism, unwillingness to take responsibility) and a group of external, systemic barriers (strictly hierarchical structure of the firm, rigid regulations of work of its employees, excessive pragmatism and distrust of innovation management, fear to take extraordinary solutions, desire of the authorities to impose binding decisions on the subordinates). It is proved that the most expedient and immanent method of overcoming obstacles on the way to the creative solution of professional tasks is anticipatory elimination of these barriers among undergraduate students at the stage of their education at the expense of theoretical and practical development of their interdisciplinary teaching complexes. We present an interdisciplinary cluster of such complexes, synthesized at the expense of substantial integration of the basic strategic discipline "public relations" with such academic disciplines as "Psychology", "Sociology", "Cultural science", "Intercultural and business communication", "Logic and theory of argumentation", "Psychology of leadership".

Abstract

In bachelors’ training the essential role is played by Zoological local lore, forming the basic professional , cultural and special competence based on the regional approach, knowledge of the local history, background and rare species bio-ecology and their distribution patterns in a variety of habitats. The significant part is occupied by marine inhabitants - hydrobionts. They can be found in rivers, lakes, ponds and small temporary water bodies in Samara region. They are represented by taxonomic groups: single-celled (protozoan), multicellular (sponges, coelenterates, bryozoans, flat, round, annelids, arthropods and molluscs). The hydrobionts are included in different ecological groups: plankton, benthos, periphyton, pleuston, nekton, neuston. Their inhabitants can be divided by size into nannoplankton, mesoplankton, respectively macroplankton and benthos and periphyton. Food chains and networks in marine environments are widely diversified. The structure consists of plankton organisms that cannot withstand the river course. The Zooplankton is small animals (protozoa - unicellular and colonial, crustaceans and insect larvae). The Benthos - a set of organisms living in the soil and on the bottom. By way of living they can be fixed, mobile and sedentary animals. The Periphyton - bioobrastateli - suvoyki, trumpeters, sponges, bryozoans, and others. Some representatives of the hydrobionts organisms are included in the Red Book of the Samara Region (2009). Many groups are used for bio-indication status of freshwater. The knowledge about the hydrobionts of Samara region is of great theoretical and practical significance. It contributes to the development of value orientations, personal ecological culture and willingness to take environmental actions .
