The features of the first impression effect in political perception

Bakuleva K.K., Andriyanova N.V., Petrov M.V., Golovanova I.V.

Abstract

The research is aimed at studying the features of the first impression effect in political perception. The research consists of two experiments. The first experiment is devoted to the study of the influence of evaluating the facial attractiveness of a candidate for further electoral choice. The second experiment is devoted to the study of the influence of the first impression, based on the evaluation of the candidate's political initiatives, on the further electoral choice. The results of the first experiment showed that a negative evaluation of attractiveness didn’t lead to a decrease in the further political evaluation, but even lead to its increase. The results of the second experiment don’t allow to conclude that the first impression influences electoral choice, since in this case the subjects didn’t have a dissonance between the primary data and the subsequent information about the candidate. Brief data about the political views of the candidate turned out to be more significant for electoral choice than detailed biographical information.

Labzina P.G., Gureev M.V., Zhabin M.E., Novalov E.I.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the principles of training and advantages of virtual reality technology in the process of learning foreign languages for specific purposes in comparison with traditional educational forms. The potentialities of virtual reality as an ideal educational environment are pointed out. This idea lets us formulate the principles of teaching foreign languages such as facilitation, autonomy of students’ activity, interactivity, professional orientation, multimodal presentation of educational information, independent educational activity. The implementation of the teaching principles mentioned above by means of virtual reality, makes it possible to create educational conditions that meet the requirements of the time and contribute to increasing the effectiveness of teaching not only foreign languages but also other disciplines. This approach helps develop professional qualities that ensure the successful performance of specific functions related to the future professional activity and, consequently, and are in demand on the modern labor market. When analyzing the potential of virtual reality, it is revealed that the main component of the virtual reality program is an accurately generated space / room which lets the learner immerse into the professional sphere during the process of study. The emphasis is on the multimodal nature of virtual reality, which optimizes the learning process through the multidimensional transmission and perception of information. The interactive actions in virtual reality are considered a facilitating factor in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language. This factor optimizes the independent and autonomous activity of students and ensures their involvement in active communicative activity and creates a high level of motivation for mastering the subject. Simulation of the professional interaction is contrasted with the traditional class atmosphere in order to avoid the subject-object relationship model. Based on the results of practical work of specialists in the field of information technologies, and also based on our own experience in creating a virtual reality program, the authors come to the conclusion that the introduction of virtual interaction into the educational process will improve the effectiveness of the results of students' educational activity in the process of mastering a professional foreign language.

The analysis of reliability of pedagogical test of a course of mathematics on the subject "Ranks"

Limanova L.V.

Abstract

This work is devoted to the analysis of quality of pedagogical dough on the subject "Ranks" of a course of mathematics which is applied to check of level of knowledge of students at the first year of SAMGTU. Researches of three characteristics of dough were for this purpose conducted: degree of difficulty of each task, variation of test tasks and reliability. The coefficient of reliability was calculated on three formulas: by means of a formula KR-20, average coefficient of correlation of all tasks among themselves and on Spirmena-Brown's formula. In the analysis of the turned-out results it appeared that values of coefficients of reliability aren't rather high. Therefore for improvement of quality of dough it is recommended or to change the tasks influencing decrease of coefficient of reliability or to increase quantity of tasks in the test (as showed researches - on two tasks).

Educational environment as the foundation for metasubject competences forming

Tymoshchuk N.A.

Abstract

The article substantiates the formalization of the learning discipline through the adaptive learning system, which is a model of the modern educational environment, which opens one of the possible ways to digital education. Taking as an example the discipline "Educational and cultural technologies" and its mastering with the help of a textbook and a workbook describes the formation of individuals in general cultural, professional and meta-subject competencies step-by-step by execution of logical schemes of indicative actions based on the cognitive-activity matrix. It is shown that such approach to education makes it possible to individualize the system of professional training of students, to create scientifically grounded educational and methodological computer support of the educational process. An individual who has all the opportunities to achieve the required level of qualifications independently will be able to replenish knowledge and implement his educational project without information support of specially trained people for this purpose; self-education acquires a continuous character; the breadth of basic education will allow you to switch quickly to related areas of professional activity. The metaproject content of educational standards should include not only the real objects of the reality being studied, including fundamental educational objects and general cultural knowledge, including fundamental problems, but also general (meta-subjective) skills, generalized methods of activity and key (meta-subject) educational competence. Key competences (value-semantic, general cultural, educational-cognitive, communicative, informational, social-labor, personal self-improvement) refer to general (meta-subject) content of education. Key competencies are not only meta-subjective and interdisciplinary, they are also multidimensional and multifunctional, they require significant intellectual development - defining their position, critical and abstract thinking, selfesteem, selfreflection, etc.The information presented in the training manuals is written on the basis of modern scientific and theoretical achievements in the field of theory and methodology of professional education, covered mainly in dissertations and periodicals, as well as on the basis vet personal experience of the authors. The multilevel tasks considered in the workbook gradually develop the meta-subject skills of students and give them the opportunity to form not only the above competences, but also to acquire the skills of deep independent study of the subject and organization of their own self-educational activity.

Humanitarian aspects of project activity in the engineering high school: criteria for the efficiency of the interdisciplinary commands activity

Yusupova O.V., Bakshutova E.V.

Abstract

Interdisciplinary integration in higher education institutions often boils down to integrating the knowledge component of different disciplines. At the same time, optimal technology should be recognized today as project activity. In the best engineering universities of the country, interdisciplinary project teams are being created today, where the best students, postgraduates, teachers, research staff of the university, and often representatives of business and industry are grouped around the innovative problems. The declared goal is the preparation of project teams consisting of specialists with unique interdisciplinary competences and capable of solving technical, managerial and other tasks of developing existing and future markets. Unfortunately, when evaluating the activities of such interdisciplinary project teams, selecting the evaluation criteria, the "engineering approach" is practiced too literally - we evaluate only the innovative product. In the article, the authors draw attention to some humanitarian aspects of the project activity at an engineering university and the need for psychological and pedagogical support for students activities in interdisciplinary project teams.
